Vice President (Finance)
Peter Kim served in the US Army as an aviation officer upon graduation from West Point. As an active duty officer, he piloted CH-47 Chinook helicopters.
He then also served in various functions at The Boeing Company where he worked on critical military aviation programs. His responsibilities included strategic planning, program management, business development and operations research in support of various DoD aviation programs.
As a member of DRS Technologies, he worked on strategic fielding and development of advanced electro-optical infrared devices. The DRS portfolio included sensors and sensor technology on the AH-64 Apache, M1 Abrams, M2 Bradley, Drivers Vision Enhancer, Long-Range Advance Scout
Surveillance System, and Thermal Weapon Sight.
As a member of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Cost and Economics, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller, his responsibilities include cost benefit analysis related policies, processes, organizational integration, and reviews. He oversees the cost benefit analysis review board and ensure resourced informed decisions by the Army leadership.
Peter graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and received his MBA from the University of Chicago with concentrations in finance and accounting.
He and his family reside in Fairfax, VA.
