Lida Peterson, CPPM, CDMP, CTA

Ms. Lida Peterson is the current President of the Connected International Meeting Professionals Association (CIMPA) . Her background includes work in the information technology field as an IT Manager of a Land Development company and as the Senior Network Administrator for the International Monetary Fund. After attending joint Annual Meetings with the World Bank, her interests in events and meeting planning grew to include conferences, meetings, fundraisers, sporting events, and galas. She’s been planning meetings and events for over 10 years working mostly with non-profit organizations.

Ms. Lida Peterson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management as well as the Certified Planner of Professional Meetings (CPPM), Certified Diversity Meeting Professional (CDMP) and Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) designations and has coordinated and managed events in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Morocco, Greece and various locations within the United States.
